Cottony Maple Scale has been seen all over the valley the past few seasons. Few maples trees have been safe from them. We are seeing fewer this season but keep your eyes out for them just in case they return. We recommend dormant applications, both spring and fall, as well as treating during the "crawler stage", usually some time in July (timing can vary greatly, monitoring is necessary). Please contact us for an estimate and/or diagnosis.
(Removed from home page October 2015. Wide spread cottony maple scale infestations appear to be on the decline.)
